Gotta love the Blondes.

So we all know that one person who isn't quite right, or who isn't quite sane. 99.99927 % of the time, they are blondes. Such a person might say something like, "Look at my glow in the dark bracelet!" when the sun is out. IF you point out the dilemma, they might say something like, "Well, turn it off then!" And they mean it literally. Yes, we all know a Lacey Jo Edge. Who pushes elevator buttons with her nose, and thinks suspenders are the sexiest thing since Ashton Kutcher. We all love them to death, but sometimes we just have to sit back and *facepalm* watch quietly while trying extremely hard not to laugh. <3

Facebook isn't for the easily distra- Oh look a bird!

That title is annoying right? Right. It was to prove a point. The reality is, some facebook users have no perception of funny/interesting/half-way smart statuses. Such as these few:

The Let-Me-Tell-You-Every-Detail-of-My-Daily-Life User// SERIOUSLY. We. Don't. Care. "Just woke up!" (Good for you! Now go shower, you look like you got hit by a van.), "Eating oatmeal!" (Really, that's the best boring breakfast food you could think of to eat?), "Bored at work" (I SO hope your boss reads that.), "Traffic is at a stand still. MOVE IT!!!" (THAT is what you get.) Yes, you have 473 friends, NO they do not want to read that your bored, because if they're on Facebook, they probably are too.

The omgzzzz..!! User// "omg!!!!!!!!ky wuz al gurl u havta chil && i wuz al u mak m sad i h8 u.,!".... Am I the only one who BARELY understood that? People, SPEAK ENGLISH. Or Spanish. Or SOMETHING we can Google Translate! There's "Spanish" and "Latin" and even "Yiddish." However there is no choice on Google Translate that says "Stupidity."

We're related! I took the 'What Movie Are You?' quiz and found out I'm Limitless! What Movie are you?" STOP THE MADNESS. If I wanted to play a game, or take a quiz, I would. I confess, I have sent requests, BUT, then I realized how idiotic it was and promptly stopped. The world should do the same.


The Self-Promoter// You know who I'm talking about. The ones who ALWAYS post about their achievements, their fascinating article about the movie Glitter, their poetry reading, AND their "amazing dog walking skillz" <-- Actual Facbook Post. It makes you seem shallow and self- centered. Just sayin'

Turtle, meet Duct Tape.

Hmm, I feel kinda obligated to blog now. Like, if I don't, some creeper is gonna pelt me with potatoes or something. I dunno, BUT I had an idea a while ago, and I'm sharing it with the world! What is a turtles biggest weakness? IT'S SHELL. I mean, if it flips over, it can't get up, poor thing! SO. I had an idea. WHAT IF I duct taped two turtles together! Problem solved! I could train the turtles to take turns too! Like, every half hour, they would flip on the other turtle and alternate! GENIUS, I know! I plan to try this pretty soon, hopefully. i'll use some snazzy duct tape, and name the turtles Senior Chub, and Fi-Fi! Wish me and my crazy plan good luck! <3

Wish Not, Want Not

So I got to thinking. And you know when THAT happens, it's never a good sign. I was thinking, about how many things we take for granted. Nice clothes, music, parents. It's never a good thing to stop remembering how lucky we are to even have been born. I am extremely grateful for everything I am given, and everything that has happened to me. Good or bad, I am thankful for the experience. So many people are ignorant at how much they really have, and all of the people that love them. I thank God that I have so many people that love me, and care about me. You should to. Cause I love you. I might not even know you, but I do. I hope you realize that, yes, you are loved, you should be thankful for everything you have, and to appreciate what is given to you. Don't take this life for granted. <3

Rock n' Roll Ain't Noise Pollution

Lately, I've seen a ton of people bashing screamo, metal, and rock music in general. As a rocker to the core, I disagree. Music is a passion, a life style, a therapy. For some, it is rap, or pop, or country music. For me, and many others, it's rock. I know so many people who say that rock music helped them through difficulties. It is a way to express suppressed feelings, it connects in a deep way that coincides with reality. It not JUST anger, and violence. It is passion, emotion, rebellion, the will to not give up. It gives us the courage to face our challenges, it gives us an outlet to the feelings we cannot express. It is therapy, a stimulant, a mood-lifter. Rock is so much more than just one biased view, it is a complex weave of thoughts and feelings. In short, don't hate on something you don't understand. Unless you've felt what rockers feel, keep the adverse opinions to yourself.
